The most wonderful time of the year here! The Holiday Party 2023 is finally! We have worked for several weeks to create the perfect party and we are sure this one will satisfy. So, what have we been cooking…or baking?
Cookies & Cookie Catalog
Cookies are our newest party currency! There are a few different methods for earning cookies which include:
- Present Deliveries
- Penguin Band Concert in the Lighthouse
Present Deliveries
Every few minutes, a present box will drop from the skies! Pay attention below the moderator badge on the top right of the screen! A present icon will begin to shake if you have an unclaimed present.
- Please note that presents will ONLY APPEAR in outdoor rooms. If you are inside when the indicator appears, the present will appear in the last outdoor room you were in.
- For example, if you go from the Town to the Gift Shop and the indicator goes off, the present will drop in the Town.
These present deliveries will grant you Cookies! Each present drops a grand total of 75 cookies so make sure you are paying attention! You only have 2 minutes to claim your gift before it disappears.
Penguin Band Concert
The band is hosting a concert in the Lighthouse every six hours! Find out when they are performing again by entering the Lighthouse, and referring to the popup on the right side.
For ONE TIME ONLY, you can earn 75 cookies by attending one of their concerts!
Now what can you use all of these cookies for? Items of course! If you click the cookie icon in the top right corner you will discover a catalog full of items new and old to collect. You will trade the cookies you earn for these items. Be on the lookout for secrets in the catalog, the elves got awfully creative!
Santa’s Sleigh – Arriving December 24th
Board Santa’s sleigh and assist in delivering presents around the island! The sleigh will become available in game on December 24th so make sure you keep an eye out.
Coins for Change & Community Goals
You can now begin donating to Coins for Change all around the island. You are able to donate either 5,000 or 10,000 coins to Coins for Change every 3 hours! We have set community goals so every penguin can contribute to unlocking items as we hit coin milestones. Remember, the only way to unlock these items is if we all work together! Make sure to donate when you can.
Additionally, the stamps for donating to Coins for Change have been added.
Rockhopper Visits the Island
Avast, Rockhopper has docked the Migrator on the island! He has brought some of his own special items with him. Be sure to check them out.
Rockhopper’s visit schedule will be released soon! Keep an eye on the blog for updates.
Bakery
The bakery is now opened and fully functioning! Go over there and make a few cookies, though these cookies can’t be used for the Cookie Catalog there may be a surprise waiting there!
New Stage Play: Ruby and Ruby
The newest Stage Play has been released! Ruby and Ruby is now available for everyone to enjoy. Head to the stage and check out the newest Stage Play and catalog.
