Hello Penguins across the lands,
We have brought the servers back up with some added logging and monitoring. Servers will most likely restart intermittently in the next couple of days as we continue to dive into the issues. To put it short, somewhere in our code we are having hanging database connections and we have not been able to figure out where that is happening yet. Because of that, you have seen the degraded performance in minigames like Card Jitsu, Puffle Revamp, Igloos, and many other things.
When the servers come back up, you may continue to play these games and interact with these features, but we highly recommend not changing your igloo during this time because if you try to change your igloo while the game server cannot connect to the database, you run the risk of having your igloo reset (which is why it was happening before).
We’ve got our best and brightest on the case and we hope to have this resolved ASAP. All flippers on deck!
As a reward for all the support and help during this time, once we have resolved these issues, all penguins who logged in and helped us by playing the game as normal will receive the RED HARD HAT!
