Hello everyone, and happy Monday! Let’s kickstart the final week of the Medieval Party with a brand-new Penguin of the Week!
Today, we are so excited to celebrate someone who has touched the hearts of many and brought so much warmth to the island. Please join us in congratulating our 115th Penguin of the Week… 8oreocookie!
Cookie joined us on October 28, 2024, and in that time, she has become an irreplaceable part of our community. From her iconic cookie costume to her trademark “Cookie hugs,” she has become known for her sweetness, kindness, and unwavering positivity.
We received several heartfelt nominations for Cookie; each one filled with genuine admiration for the kind of friend and penguin she is. Here is what a few of those nominators had to say:
“I truly believe Cooks deserves to be Penguin of the Week because she is what I like to call a ‘ray of sunshine.’ Not only has she never said anything mean about anyone in her life, but she also lifts everyone up! She makes each penguin feel important, unique, and special. If you’re having a bad day, she will listen to everyone, it doesn’t matter how many people or who, and she will make you feel better. She makes everyone feel welcome and like they’re a part of the CPJ family. I have truly never had the pleasure of knowing someone as sweet, caring, and kind as 8oreocookie.”
“Cooks is, without a doubt in my mind, the KINDEST penguin on the island. Cookie is always seen wearing her signature cookie costume and is known to give ‘Cookie hugs’ and spread positivity around the island. She is very caring and kind, going as far as making sure to ask all her friends whether they have eaten a meal or drank enough water for the day. There is not one mean bone in her penguin body, and she is constantly bringing light and love into everyone’s day.”
“Since befriending her, she has been nothing short of sweet. She is quite frankly the nicest, sweetest penguin on the island. She is always giving out hugs and can easily make you smile.”
Cookie, we hope you know just how appreciated you are. Your thoughtful nature, your kindness, and your ability to make everyone feel welcome are exactly what Penguin of the Week is all about!
As always, our Penguin of the Week will receive 10,000 coins, the Penguin of the Week background, and the Green Viking helmet. Congratulations, Cookie! You’ve made our island a better place just by being you.
