For the past several months, our Trust & Safety Team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Club Penguin Journey safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone. Now, we need your help. As with everything on CPJ, this is a volunteer-run effort, and we are looking for new flippers to join our Trust and Safety team and help us continue fostering a positive community environment.
If you are passionate about online safety, community wellbeing, and keeping Club Penguin Journey a place where everyone feels welcome, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
What does a moderator do at Club Penguin Journey?
Moderators help maintain the safety and integrity of the game and our broader community spaces. This includes monitoring in-game chat, handling player reports and support tickets, and verifying usernames.
You will work directly with other moderators and leads to ensure players are supported, safe, and respected while helping maintain the friendly and fun spirit of the island.
Basic Qualifications
• A strong understanding of online communities and digital behavior
• Familiarity with CPJ community guidelines and values
• Professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills
• Availability to moderate and respond to reports regularly
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous moderation experience in games or online communities
