BOooO, penguins! Halloween is creeping closer, and you know what that means… spooky stories, eerie decorations, and a little nod to the purple puffle that gave us all a good scare during the Fair! But, don’t worry friends, we’re not here to scare you (too much). We’re here to celebrate another amazing penguin who’s been lighting up the island even in the darkest nights!
Please join us in congratulating our 136th Penguin of the Week: Night Owl!
Night Owl arrived on the island 315 days ago, and since then, they’ve become something of a local legend, especially for their ”TUTORIAL FOR PURPLE PUFFLE” that helped so many penguins survive that spooky quest during the Fair!
If you’ve wandered by the Cove lately, you’ve probably spotted a penguin dressed as a purple puffle, sitting in the lifeguard chair, cheering others on with words of encouragement. Always ready to help, Night Owl makes even the scariest quests feel like a breeze.
They are exactly the kind of penguin you spot and instantly brightens your day. They’ve spent hours and even entire days making sure that penguins from every corner of the island can complete this quest, and that dedication is something we truly admire.
This week’s nomination comes straight from the community! Here’s what a fellow penguin had to share:
”Hey mods! I strongly feel that Night Owl should be potw, because they have been helping penguins every single night at the cove with tips on how to feed the purple puffle. They offer their help every minute, a short or long version of tips and tricks. They also keep such a positive attitude doing this!”
