Hi friends! We hope you’re having an absolute blast at the party so far and making the most of your summer! What better way to keep the good vibes going than by celebrating another awesome penguin? It’s tiiiimeeee to slide into another amazing Penguin of the Week!
Please join us in congratulating our 178th Penguin of the Week: FriedTempura!
Since first waddling onto the island in December 2025, FriedTempura has quickly become a friendly face within the community! Whether it’s during parties, at community events, or simply for a quick wander around the island, wherever he goes, fun is sure to follow!
Kindness and patience are some of his brightest qualities. Whether with brand new penguins or old friends, FriedTempura can always be seen offering a flipper to those who need assistance. From guiding penguins on complete party quests, to helping others track down mascots, to simply answering general questions about CPJ, he always makes time for his fellow players so they can have a great experience. We hear that FriedTempura’s favorite events are the Medieval, Adventure, Halloween and Fair parties – hopefully he’s not left waiting too much longer before getting to experience these with us!
We mustn’t forget to highlight FriedTempura’s excellent puffle care skills too. He has 15 well-loved fuzzy friends, each named after a type of food, and almost all of them Level 30 or over. He even shares his top tips about looking after your puffles, so others can ensure their puffle pals get the best level of care too!
FriedTempura was nominated by a Club Penguin Journey staff member, who had this to say:
“I had a lot of fun attending one of our recent community events at the Dojo, and part of that came from seeing FriedTempura’s participation in this, making sure all the ninjas were swimming responsibly! I’ve spotted him around the island a few times before and he truly seems to bring sunshine with him wherever he goes. His kindness towards others is so lovely to see and he’s certainly a penguin deserving of the Penguin Of The Week title!!”
As always, he will receive 10,000 coins, the exclusive Penguin of the Week background, and of course, the Green Viking Helmet.
